The laptop is hooked up to the 5 port hub on one of the workstation ports.
there is a cable running from the 5 port hub over through the attic to the
4 port hub in our living room closet. There is another cable running through
the attic into our bonus room down to the workstation.
Software wise, the laptop runs windows 95. The workstation runs windows 3.11,
I am running the microsoft windows network on both computers. Drive sharing
is enabled between both machines, and printer sharing is enabled on the laptop,
the workstation can print to my Okidata OL-400 laser printer over the LAN.
For PPP dialup internet sharing, I connect to IndyNet.
I run PPP India'sPPPShar
. For mail sharing, I use the same company's Netmailshar
. On the workstation, I run Netscape Navigator for WWW access, and Eudora Lite 3.5 for email access.
